Last year marked the birth of The Homeschool Misfit Awards! We had a great time making fun of our own failings and finding encouragement in knowing we are not alone. Many asked that it be an annual thing and I am happy to oblige. I've been busy working behind the scenes to create a new button, set up an easier nomination form, and find sponsors willing to associate themselves with misfits. Finding sponsors was easier than I expected (I suppose we all must feel "misfity" at times!). I'm excited to have Sonlight, Teach With Games, Schoolhouse Publishing, A Journey Through Learning, Zeezok Publishing, Joyce Herzog, Purposeful Planning and Faith, Family and Fun on board! Stay tuned because I'm hoping to have the nominations up and running sometime this week. Bring on the misfits!
