While sorting through books, I had my 9 year old sort through the box from Nature's Workshop Plus! that I picked up at the last Christian Book Distributors warehouse sale. Nature's Workshop is wonderful in that they provide just about everything you need for science experiments, all in separate plastic bags labeled by lesson. Some think this is overkill. I think this is needed. If everything isn't immediately accessible, I find myself skipping the experiment (Yes, I admitted this right here for everyone to see!). I love these types of kits.
I just happened to find a box with supplies for Apologia Elementary's Zoology I which I just happen to own and I just happened to purchase this box for a mere $18.99, when it sells for $90! I'd say that was a great deal and I figured I could just replace whatever items were missing. And so my son painstakingly sorted through every item and checked it against the inventory list, ready to document the missing items.
He found none.
That's right. I have a complete Zoology supply kit for only $18.99! Someone probably returned the kit and the store did not want to sort through to be sure it was complete and so we got the deal of a century. I'm shouting and singing over this deal and just had to share what we discovered while preparing for the curriculum sale.
And no, we're not selling it. It's all mine, baby.
