Mama Ain't Happy

It was supposed to be our last day of school (Well, at least for the four youngest. The high schooler will be working for a few more weeks to finish up his Sonlight Core 300). The kids were supposed to present their last projects and then we would head to our homeschool park day.  Summer would be officially on the schedule from this day forward.

Yeah, not so much.

I may be unreasonable but when I allow three days to work on a skit, I expect three days worth of working on a skit.  I don't expect complete chaos as they attempt to pull something together at the last minute.  I don't expect arguing and yelling and a free for all.  I expect happy kids putting on a happy skit, making it a happy day.

Am I expecting too much?

I don't think so.  We're still going to park day (mostly because Mom needs to go!) but I'd better see a skit with no extra drama come Monday.  Because I am more than ready for summer break.
