I have been completely inspired by my friend Lizzie! I'm jumping into several reading challenges for this year and wanted to share them with you. Check them out below and see if something interests you as well.
This one is exactly what it says- Read 52 books in 52 weeks. They can be any books of your choice! This is the one I participated in last year and greatly enjoyed. It has inspired me to join in a few more challenges for 2011!
Soulless - Gail Carriger
There are 4 levels to this challenge. You may choose from:
- Curious – Read 3 Fantasy Fiction novels.
- Fascinated – Read 6 Fantasy Fiction novels.
- Addicted – Read 12 Fantasy Fiction novels.
- Obsessed – Read 20 Fantasy Fiction novels.
I think I will start with Addicted and see how it goes from there. I have several fantasy novels on my Nook right now and am wondering how far I can stretch the genre. My current read is a steampunk vampire story, I'm thinking that will count!

There are four levels for this one as well. They are:
-- Curious – Read 3 e-books.
-- Fascinated – Read 6 e-books.
-- Addicted – Read 12 e-books.
-- Obsessed – Read 20 e-books.

Again, we have four levels:
--The Mini YA Reading Challenge – Read 12 Young Adult novels.
--The "Fun Size" YA Reading Challenge – Read 20 Young Adult novels.
--The Jumbo Size YA Reading Challenge – Read 40 Young Adult novels.
--The Mega size YA Reading Challenge – Read 50+ Young Adult novels.
I'm thinking I will start off with the Mini. YA is the genre I really would love to write in, so it'd be great to spend some time reading more YA books.
This one's cool and has a little different twist to it- you must read books from their list of blogger recommendations and no re-reads are allowed. Sounds like fun and there are many on their list that I have been wanting to read, so here goes nothing!

Level I - Read 5 books from the 2010 Book Blogger Recommendation List
Level II - Read 10 books
Level III - Read 15 books
Level IV - Read 20 books

I just need to figure out a system to keep track of all of these challenges! And now I really want to know which book you're not too sure of that is on my list. Inquiring minds and all!
