We are in the midst of playing a video game called Eternal Sonata. This game takes place in Chopin's dream world, as he lay on his death bed. The character's names all come from the world of music, the music throughout the game is Chopin's, and there is a short bit of Chopin's biography after you complete each chapter in the game. I am loving the game and thought it would make an excellent lapbook.
We searched online for graphics from the game, printed them out, and then created booklets with the name, picture, and definition (which we also researched online). For Chopin himself, we used an accordion book and glued in a timeline of his life on one side and a list of his most famous famous works on the other. The Pandora Internet radio was tuned to Chopin during the entire process. Everyone worked on separate booklets and folds and then we combined them to create one lapbook.
